Hi,
I was wondering if its possible to use Ruby instead of Python for add-on development. I want to write a add-on for iPhoto, that maps a remote iPhoto Library to a structure of the including events and photos. Is it possible to use some kind of wrapper from ruby to python or even to develop native in Ruby for XBMC add-ons?
thx!

Cool, can't wait for it. But I think it takes some time till it is merged into master. In the meantime, can anyone recommend a good tutorial where to get started in writing plugins for XBMC?

I'd like to write some sort of control system of Lifx smart bulbs using their newly released Ruby API. I stumbled across this thread and I apologise for the resurrection..but wondering if there has been any progress?

There is absolutely no plan I know of to support ruby a scripting language (which would be quite strange, imo)
