Easiest way is to just download the zip from github (https://github.com/trakt/script.trakt/ar...master.zip), delete your current addon, and extract it to your addons folder, then rename the folder from "script.trakt-master" to "script.trakt".
When a new repo version comes out, it should update, as the version is usually bumped up then.
I just updated to the git version and rebooted. When watching the show I had problem with before, I still not scrobble.
