I have been very happy with XBMC Eden and decided to try the PVR version that Dushmaniac has posted on his web site. Eventually after installing MediaPortal and the appropriate XBMC plugin I got Live TV to display channel listings. However when I click on a channel it gives the error message "mediaportal pvr client ffmpeg unknown error". I will turn on logging and try and post a log of what is going on.

From your log: "[ERROR]: TVServer answer: UnknownError". This is an error message from the MediaPortal TVServer backend. So, your backend is for unknown reasons not able to tune.
