Occasional stuttering in 1080p playback - is it DXVA2?

I'm having the exact same issues as the OP. I have an i3-3225 CPU. I should also mention that I get the terrrible 24p audio sync issue as well. Same as OP I get the best results with option [2] but the tearing is horrible. I tested out MPC-HC and without much configuration I got much better results, the odd time it would see the audio would go out of sync but it seemed to resync itself back. I agree the hardware is perfectly fine but I don't know why xbmc has issues.

I get stuttering on my Sandy Bridge 2500K and GTX 570. Mine seems to happen pretty consistently about half a second after a scene change in a movie. All my movies are 1080P. I am using the HD audio branch of Eden but I'm sure it also happened on stock Eden too.

Weird, I can play 1080p movies no problems with a Pentium G620 using the HD1000.

A i3 or i5 should be able to do it...well, you know, it should have no bother.
