I have DVBViewer Recording Service PVR starting problem. I have used Dvbviewer for years but now very excited about this plugin, I would be very very happy to get my frontend to linux machine. XBMC seems to be perfect for this.
I have installed to my Ubuntu 1204-64 machine yesterday's (15dec12) nightly XBMC, also compatible Dvbviewer RS PVR. When it didn't work, I also tried todays (16dec12) in another Win7-64 and now finally in the backend machine with Win7-64 (where is also the RS).
When I start my XBMC, I get info "Dvbviewer client - Connection lost" and "Recording Service version 1.21 or higher..."
- my Dvbviewer RS is version 1.9.2 so it shouldn't be the problem.
When I go to Live tv I get this: "No pvr clients started yet". I believe that it wont start PVR because of the RS version, but why? Could it be some file rights problem or firewall? I have tried to change user/pw, empty ones also, no help. I am out of ideas now.
I would be happy for any help. I have tried search already... no help yet.
