Linux How to setup TRIM/SSD support
#1
I have XBMCbuntu running on a mechanical drive and I bought an SSD hard drive to use instead. What changes do I need to make to Ubuntu to implement TRIM support so it doesn't screw up my SSD? I'm wanting to use Ghost to clone the drive so I don't have to reinstall and set up all the addons and settings again.

http://askubuntu.com/questions/18903/how-to-enable-trim - certainly worth a go, it's possible you'd have to install a couple of new packages to the default xbmcbuntu build.
