Whenever i try to acess the webserver functions (via official XBMC remote or via web browser) i get constantly disconnected/reconnected.

I know a lot of people have been reporting this as well. I'd like to know if this issue is being looked at by the devs.
For some of us it's the only way of controlling our xbmc, aside from stealing keyboards from surrounding pc's...

A fresh install of raspbmc and xbmc did not solve anything.

The easiest way to test is to enable the webserver under the services section in settings.
Then take any web browser and use:

Http://username:passwd@yourXbmc_IP:xbmcPort

Had a look a default. You need to run it from root URL. So, set as default then http://<myxbmcip>:<port>. If you use http://<myxbmcip>:<port>/addons/webinterface.default it won't work.

I don't know if it can help, but I'd like to add that the random disconnections only happen when i navigate inside settings/raspbmc setting/ add sources etc. It works fine when i simply navigate inside videos/movies or when playing one.
