Release tinyMediaManager - a media manager written in Java (Win/Mac/Linux)
It's getting better all the time!
This release, I really love this one: remember last used folder when choosing files #791
It saves soooooo much time....

Couple of things I noticed, from movie sets there's no hotkey to edit, and also the hotkey (ctrl+e) to edit movie doesn't work in sets list.

One quick question about how to use it, If I want to add only one new movie for example, how does one do that?
Update sources scans everything, and finds a lot of things I deleted, (for which i should use the ignore file), however it does take a while, it seems to check a lot of stuff.
Find missing movies, didn't do anything, but in the log summary, I saw all these "possible movie" entries, however there's no UI to ask me.

Should I just drag the folder on there?  What's the process for quick add one title?

Thanks again!

Dave

We operate only on datasource level.
just add another one...

But: why are movies there you don't need?
why not delete them completely?
You might want to split them into another datasource....

It's because they were in Extras folders, however still getting imported as separate movies.
I hadn't had the time to put in .tmmignore files, but I've done that now, so I can do "update sources".
Just seems a bit long to wait 15 mins to add one movie ;-)
I'm not going to complain now, as I haven't yet contributed anything....

Well, yes.
With current release version, we support the extras folder only one level deep.

This has already changed in latest nightly - you might want try that...

Thanks, I tend to just dump in the whole VIDEO_TS or BDMW structure for extras.
I'm fine to wait for it to make it to stable ;-)

Many thanks again, it's looking like great software!

Thanks for confirming that it wasn't an issue on my end.  Appreciate the response.

Since I have your attention, is there any way to limit the amount of actors this populates?  Can you limit it to like 5 or something small?

Hello,
I've seen that on fanart.tv forum :

It seems that the API returns:
https://assets.fanart.tv/fanart/music/e2...301f76.jpg

Which seems to be down. However, the site seems to be up:
https://fanart.tv/fanart/music/e2345fdf-...301f76.jpg

You can do a quick replacement and it seems to work fine. I'm not sure if the address was changed and the API wasn't updated or if a service is down.

What do you think M. Mlaggner, it's possible add an automatic switch of download link if downloading is impossible with API link ??

Another thing, would it be possible to add an option in order to preferably select animated works to non-animated and to automatically download animated Artworks when there are some available.
It would be great because for the moment we have to do it manually, delete the poster of the artwork, scan missing artwork only with Kyradb, then rescan missing artwork with fanart.tv. It's tedious .. it could be automatic I think ..
It's just an idea ..

There is a Post in your linked thread from the 25th that says:
Quote:Should all be fine now, we changed the assets server to one with more bandwidth. The assets server was being hammered far beyond its capacity. The discord server will get you a quicker response for future reference.

I still get the error in tmm with the newest version.
