Thanks for all the feedback
We already thought of splitting the DB for the various modules, to ease the handling and maintenance.
And to ease the introduction of new modules like music, games, whatsoever
But from a personal POV... music is not what comes in the next months. There already dozens of good apps out there... (/me always used Tag&Rename)
To take the cumulative media information runtime of all videos, or the scraped one.
We'll think about that
Problem here is, that there is no naming standard how to handle certifications & mpaa flags.
EVERY SKIN is implementing it differently! (it's not in the core)
So i checked the source of the popular ones... and since they mostly work with parsing a substring, they should find their correct variant for displaying.
XBMC 12 is always overwriting / updating this when you play the movie (source)
There can only be one
(for now)
Edit: maybe you can handle this as "Extras"?!
There's a plugin for XBMC https://github.com/brentosmith/xbmc-dvdextras
And TMM has already limited support for that built-in

Quote:Is it possible to use the media duration as runtime when you're not scraping runtimes from online sources?Hm.. well, yes there should be an option.
