Release tinyMediaManager - a media manager written in Java (Win/Mac/Linux)
After updating to the newest version (2.9.4 build: 2017-08-25 09:15) I'm getting the following errors when scraping some movies but not others. I'm using the IMDB scraper and have previously scraped these movies with no trouble. Other scrapers work fine. Im on the most recent build of Windows 10. [/code]Any ideas?

I saw that thread but assumed this was a different issue. They're having issues scraping the plot (I'm also having that issue) whereas I'm unable to save the fanart.
Ok. I am sure myron and mlaggner will be along soon to explain the issue.

Hi.

I have a feature request regarding the tvepisode scrapping. At the moment i have to use one scrapper for all the infos. Most often i use thetvdb or themoviedb since they have the best localized descriptions. But imdb is much better at infos like Genres, Mpaa and most important the rating. At the TV-Show level there is no problem using different scrappers for different infos. But if i enable scrape season & episode data, all datas will be overwritten with overwritten. Not just the selected as in the main tvshow info.
Hi @all

I am using TMM for a few weeks now. All is fine except one issue. Maybe it is just a mistake in my settings.
TMM always deletes existing nfo files although "remove all other NFOs" under "settings - movies - renamer" is not selected.

Are there any other settings to avoid this?
if there is a "readable" NFO, we respect this in the renamer
"other" NFOs are non (tmm-)readable NFOs which are often supplied by some release groups

I've noticed a problem with the tvshow.nfo files that tinyMediaManager (2.9.5) creates. Kodi scrapes the tv show information from tvshow.nfo just fine, but it won't find any episode info for episodes that don't have an nfo file.

Edit: I forgot to mention that during the initial scan all episodes are found. After I add new episodes to a show, none of them are scraped anymore.

I compared the tvshow.nfo created by tmm with the Kodi wiki page http://kodi.wiki/view/NFO_files/TV_shows

It seems that the <episodeguide> tag is wrong in nfo files created by tmm.

Currently I get this with tmm (Kodi won't find any episode data):
Code:
<episodeguide>
       <url cache="73141.xml">http://www.thetvdb.com/api/<API_KEY>/series/73141/all/fi.xml</url>
</episodeguide>

When it should be like this (Kodi finds all episodes):
Code:
<episodeguide>
       <url cache="73141-fi.xml">http://www.thetvdb.com/api/<API_KEY>/series/73141/all/fi.zip</url>
</episodeguide>

The reason why I don't create any episode nfos is that these are my PVR recordings and it would be too annoying to constantly create new nfo files for new episodes. I still want to do some changes to the tv show infos (Finnish age ratings, genres, status...) so that's why need to create them with tmm.

Re: Countries field.

A sort field that I never use, but happened to look at it a few days ago and noticed the entries were not correct in Kodi. Rather than having individual countries listed, the countries are grouped.

I have tracked it down to the Country field in TMM that makes the following entry when multiple countries are listed

PHP Code:
AustraliaUSAFranceGermany
The above entry string is one country according to Kodi.

PHP Code:
AustraliaUSAFranceGermany
By removing the comma and replacing it with a semi-colon, Kodi now reads and separates the individual countries.

Could this be rectified?

Thanks Karellen for updating the Kodi wiki regarding NFO tags et all.

Seems, we have to rework a bit.
Country is not multiple on TMM side, and therefor just a (comma separated) text field.
Interesting, that Kodi does not recognise this anylonger - i'm quite confident that this worked some time?!
Anyway...separating with semicolon can be done easily, multiple tags... depends on how v16 behaves...

You are welcome myron Smile

Thanks for looking into this Country issue. It's now fairly easy to edit the Country field in TMM's edit nfo screen, but would be nice for a fix eventually.

It probably did work for v16 or earlier, but has been changed somewhere along the line. Might be a few more changes in v18 also... definitely for Music anyway which doesn't affect your software. But I'll try to get the nfo page update out quickly.

Tested with v16 & v17 - both do NOT split country; neither on comma, nor on semicolon. (dunno v18)
Nevertheless, you might want to try latest nightly Smile
Select all movies and rewrite NFO should add multiple country tags now. (guess you need to remove and readd you complete lib, to let Kodi read this again...)

@maxtherabbit
thx, will be changed.
Seems another change we haven't been aware of...
