FWIW, I found that the network connection for scanning media sources was very slow on a VM, so I tried again on my main win10 PC. I checked all running programs and found SQL server running - which is for MyMovies, even though mymovies was closed.
So I killed it, and tried TMM again, and it didn't close itself.
However that was last night, and today, they are self closing on both host and vm guest.
I checked the log on the vm, and there was a message, about process running, and I then killed "java updater" which was a process in background, and it worked again.
I tried this on my Host, ie my main PC, and it also worked after killing java updated. For about 20 minutes, now it's self dying again.....
The java and sql processes are not running....
