Hello everyone,
I have my library setup using the MySQL tutorial. My media is scattered across 3 different sources but the majority of it lives on my NAS unit. I recently started getting a strange error about disk failure despite all of my data being intact and it's RAID0. After working with the manufacturer, we decided to do an RMA and I fought with them enough to get them to ship me a replacement unit before returning my original. My sources are configured using SMB shares by IP address rather than host name,
My question is if I just copy all of my folders to the replacement unit and assign the same IP address to the new unit, should my library be unaffected? I didn't know if there is some unique ID assigned to each object in the database that will be affected by my copy/paste job.
Thanks for the help in advance.
