I have the video files pointing to the correct folder in Windows 7 for XBMC to see the channels from HDHomerun Dual, I see all the channels when I click on a channel I receive the sound but no video.
Any suggestions?
This is all Over The Air channels, not cable TV
I'm running the newest XBMC 11.0 Eden
I just found out that XBMC 11.0 will not play the video in AVI files either, sound only. It will play any other type video file but not AVI's
Changed the codecs from K-Lite to CCCP...... same. First I tried an older version of K-Lite to see... same.
tried XBMC 10.1, it is the same. Will only play sound portion of AVI's not the video
I can play AVI's with WMP, VLC and WMC but XBMC refuses to play the video portion, only the audio for AVI's
It used to work fine quite awhile back when I used XBMC regularly, I stopped using XBMC when the weather didn't work anymore and uninstalled it.
Since the newer version used Underground weather I wanted to use it.
This makes no sense now.

OK the problem was having it set to "Auto Detect" in the Render setting.
When I changed it to DXVA it would play AVI's again and also the TV channels played fine in HDHomerun Dual
