I seem to frequently watch shows that don't have episode tbns from thetvdb.com so in the list of recent episodes I get a lot of blank squares... These shows all seem to have a season tbn present so I was wondering if I could configure kodi to show the related season thumb for an episode if no episode thumb is present / available?

KODI should extract the thumbnail from file.

Setting>video>file list>two options for extracting thumbs and video info (toggle these)
