Preferred naming scheme for movies?

Is there any scheme that panders particularly to XBMC, in regards to XBMC's ability to scrape films for metadata?

For movies, biggest thing is to have title and year in the name for best scraper matching.

Pulp Fiction (1994).<ext>

or

Pulp.Fiction.1994.<ext>

Would be the best recommendation. After the year you can add other things to the name if you like, source, codec, etc...

I name mine as follows:

<movie title>.<year>.<source>.<codec>.<ext>

an example:
Pulp.Fiction.1994.bluray.x264.mkv

I also have each movie in it's own folder named the same. (I do this because I keep all the artwork and nfo files and this is tidier than everything all in one directory)

Can someone post the suggest TV naming convention? I see it on the wiki there...

Even better, can someone post TheRenamer settings for me? A simple snipping tool jpeg would be WONDERFUL.
