Hello guys
Here is my situation:
I have a HTPC (xbmcbuntu) with a motherboard Gigabyte ga-eg45m-ds2h (http://bit.ly/SVs1Xe) and an old Asus graphic card (don't recall what exactly, something super basic) with S-Video connector to connect to my old "3D tv" (1 meter cube if you see what I mean )
This motherboard also has an integrated graphic card with DVI and HDMI connectors.
So today, I bought an HDTV and I tried to connect my HTPC to it with a HDMI cable...
I noticed that I needed to remove the Asus graphic card to be able to get an image on tv through the onboard HDMI... ok... fine!
But then when Xbmc boots I got an error during the loading stating ""Unable to load lirc kernel modules. Verify your selected kernel modules in /etc/lirc/hardware.conf"
And errrr... well I got no idea what to do except maybe reinstall it all, but I have seen that post http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=126830 and I'd like to know what I'm dealing with first...
Any ideas?
Thank you for your attention
Sylvain
