Hello,

I am having a problem. I have not upgraded or made any changes to settings for a long time now. Just yesterday all of a sudden, trying to playback media from NAS or local hard disk or even Youtube plugin the screen goes black with a small cross in the middle and re starts the skin.

I am using the AEON Nox skin btw.

Please enable debug log (wiki)ging in XBMC, reproduce the error and upload a new log to pastebin.

Did you update your video driver recently?

Use default skin and try again,I bet the skin is borking xbmc, though t shouldnt 3rd party skins usually a pita.

Log still required for your current problem if skin change doesn't help, though.

So i googled up a bit, i tried the below:
1. Deletetin the .xbmc from my home folder and recreating paths
2. used default skin
3. reinstall nvidia drivers

nothing worked. I think though the problem lies on the skin because since the update of the AEON Nox skin i have been having high CPU usage, and a few hangs every now and then.

I reinstalled the Eden version and everything works again smoothly. Except when i use the AEON nox skin i still get high CPU usage.
So i decided to move to Confluence until thats fixed.

However bare in mind Frodo is around the corner, so reporting Eden issues to Nox may not get any resolution...
