I use XMBC on R Pi. Some time ago I worked out a way for most of the configuration and the various caches (show info, show art, etc) to be stored on a remote file share. I put on an SSD on my PC on the network, partly for performance, partly so it didn't have to be downloaded again if I reinstalled XMBC.
This worked fine, but I had to reinstall XBMC and I didn't back up my configuration. Now I can't work out how I did it. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Note: I don't mean a remote MySQL server (which I've done), or remote video storage, it's the actual XMBC configuration stored remotely.
