Hi all, I'm following this forum for a while and I'd like to share a new app for organizing your small (huge ) collection of TV Shows.

This app was born to better manage what I've been doing in the last years with the help of some scripts lying around my machine. It's built using the web2py framework (hence the W2P prefix) and has:

• TV Guide with calendar (dates taken from thetvdb.com)
  
• Missing episode detection
  
• Automatic download of subtitles (opensubtitles.org and italiansubs.net support)
  
• nfo creation for XBMC
  
• optional torrent download (ezrss.it, torrentz.eu or showrss.info)
  
• magnet link support
  
• PROPER management
  
• Automatic rename of episodes
  
• Torrent client support (transmission, deluge, utorrent supported ATM)
  
• Back In Time (revert any operation done by W2P_TvSeries)
  

Although the agenda behind coding this app was to learn coding in the 1st place, I'm happy to see it available for all the ones who would like to try ^_^

i have installed tvseries and i like it very much!

it is really nice to sit on the couch and see that my fovourite series it is already downloaded ready to be watched (for some of them i had to copy into the downolad folder or in the series folder.... some torrent has subfolder....) even if i didn't know/remember it was already aried....

i'm discovering it and maybe i miss some functions....but i would be nice if it send a mail after download something :-)

well, w2p_tvseries has knowledge only of what gets queued into the torrent client and when a file is moved from the download folder of the torrent client to its destination.

Sending a mail is not a hard task per se, but you need an SMTP server ready and willing to send you the emails!
