Is the plugin assuming that the mysql server IP is the same as the mythbackend?
My MySQL server runs on a separate IP address than my mythbackend, and I can't get the plugin to connect. Logs indicate that it's trying to talk to the MySQL server on the backend's IP address.
I also noticed that there's no configuration option for the MySQL address and port, only the backend. MythTV frontends work the opposite from this. Bypassing the UPNP discovery method, they use the MySQL configuration to find the backend.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
