Hi Forum,
I always use XBMCLive, XBMCbuntu in an diskless environment for my two HTPC. XBMCLive was great for that purpose, but XBMCbuntu 11 is not so diskless friendly. Basically the problem is: XBMCbuntu will keep overwrite many system files, like /etc/passwd during startup. I had to uncompress init file, make modification myself and compress it back.
I know that XBMCbuntu 12 will release soon, will it diskless friendly? Do I had to make modification to use it in my PXE environment?
Thanks
Noodle
