Here's what I want to do; I have xbmcBuntu Eden running in my upstairs room, and I have xbmc atlantis (xbox) running downstairs. I have a 1TB iOmega server that provides movies to both. What I want to do is take my upstairs xbmc box (which is a q8300 intel quad-core, 4GB RAM DFI Lanparty board) and build a 2TB RAID server. I also want to add a dual tuner card to it and have the capability of providing live TV, as well as PVR for both upstairs and downstairs at the same time. I'll take my Pi, which has openELEC on it, and replace the xbmc box upstairs, and buy another one for downstairs with the same setup, since the xbox has no liveTV support <?>.
My question is this; is it even possible to put a tuner card on the server, and have 2 simultaneous live TV outputs as well as PVR? If not, then what will it take?
