i have the xbmc box mx quad. its froze up at the xbmc media center loading... and it doesn't go pas that. is there any way i can fix it?

Try resetting all of the XBMC settings: Android -> Settings -> Apps -> XBMC -> Reset data

it doesn't have rest button. but could i download the new updates and put it on flash drve or sd card and install it like that??

Listen to Ned, as that is the only way of doing it. When you follow what he has said you will have a first run XBMC and you will need to set it up again from scratch.
