Android firmware version V.1.03.04MX01_20130326

Files used

http://www.dvdloc8.com/dolbydtsclip.php?clipid=3

Standard android Videoplayer 1.73 to play the files via usb.
Android audio setup: Spdif passthrough or hdmi passthrough

Result of the test: only noise via spdif or hdmi.

If I use the Android digital audio output setup: PCM, the audio is OK but it is not dolby or DTS, only stereo!

Someone has verified these problems?

Thanks

Dolby and DTS have to be licensed by the vendor selling it, otherwise you get nothing.

Dolby/DTS have been cracking down hard lately on companies that don't have a license, recently a lot of iOS media players have removed Dolby support and if they were lucky got a license to use it again.
