When i have a DNG file in a folder and i browse in "Pictures" to this folder XBCM crashes. Same with CR2 files. This is probably when it tries to create a thumbnail. JPG files are ok.

We need an example file. A Debug Log during the crash would be useful as well (it's crashing on the main thread, whereas the actual issue is likely on a background thread).

No problem. But the dng is 7.5 MB. Would it be ok when i archive the dng and the log files into a zip file and pm you a download url?

Open a ticket on trac and attach the dng there.

I have same problem. Is there any solution or workaround ? (it 2 mounth old question).
p.s. it seems like i have problem with pictures accessing at time of google pictures plugin running (search results).

Yes. Correct. But no any changes (2 month period).
So if it not enough information a can provide log and sample image (but it in ticket already).

Hi,

After switching to Frodo I am suddenly getting system crashes when I try to view pictures. The log file suggests XBMC crashes on dng file. This only happens on my MacMini; there are no crashes on my MBA.

PS. I tried uploading the dng file that may have caused the crash to track ticket 13947, but the file size limit is 5 Mb; the file in question is 24 Mb). As far as I can tell XBMC crashes with all Dng files on my MacMini (I tried a few).

I would suggest to update that ticket with your log (not with your current Frodo install but with a current nightly since a lot has changed since Frodo and since this patch went in around the same time as that ticket.) and a link to your .dng file on mediafire (or whatever other service). Marshall is notified on updated ticket.
