Nice hardware OP, I've been running this configuration for the last 3 years. I have upgraded from FreeBSD 8.0 > 8.Stable > 8.1 > back to stable > 8.2 > 9.0 and ZFS versions 13 > 14 > 15 > 28 and I'm happy to report that I have never had any issues.
I've actually switched mine to a combined setup a couple years ago when XBMC was first ported to FreeBSD. My FreeBSD media PC runs ZFS, Jails, XBMC, Samba, Sickbeard and Sabnzbd. Since its in the lounge it boots straight into XBMC and shutdown/reboot through XBMC via remote. No keyboard and mouse attached
