How many sub-menu items are possible? And on how many lines?

I am curious, how many sub-menu items can each home screen section in Confluence support?

The reason I am asking is I am looking for ways to better organize add-ons alongside functional not typological categories. That is, IMO it makes no more sense to catalogue all video add-ons under "Video Add-Ons": they are by now so numerous, that a functionality-driven breakdown under categories such Adult, Culture, Fashion, Documentaries, TV streaming, etc etc, is imperative.

There are two ways to do it: panels (such as those introduced with the old Confluence Lite Mod for Eden), and sub-menus. The panel option has been mostly dropped, and rightly so: it is slower, and the screen estate is better used by a recently added widget (see how nice it looks of Confluence MOD v2).

But how many sub-menu items can be put under each Confluence main menu item? Ten, as used to be the case with Confluence Lite Mod's panels, which is indeed enough?

And if it is less than 10, can the rest be put on a second sub-menu line?
