Hi I need to automatically switch to full screen after XX seconds of inactivity (especially when playing music)

If by fullscreen you mean display music visualization, you can set screensaver to display visualization while audio is playing. Set your desired time and, if music is playing, it wil display the visualization; if not, it'll display your regular screensaver selection.
