Hi All,

I have just joined this forum for your help.......

I have spent past 2 days trying to figure out how to get the folders shared on my time capsule working with XBMC, all my movies are on the time capsule. have searched the net high and low with no joy all the different paths and so on have not worked

eg:

afp://revo:[email protected]/Data

This does not work!

When i set it up as a smb i can see the folder but no files.

I am new to XBMC as well so please guide me in a step by step


Hardware: Acer Revo r3700
Tv: Panasonic Plasma


Any help will be much appreciated.

Select the folder you want to add to XBMC. Like you've noticed, you only see folders and no files, but this is normal. Once the folder you want is opened then hit "okay" to add it as a source to XBMC.

Thanks for that got it working now, question why is everyone on the net using afp paths?

got another problem now no sound over HDMI, seen loads of posts on the internet about this but they go over my head with terminal commands and so on any step by step instructions?

Also notiched another thing the streaming from the time capsule was sluggish? any pointers?
