i am currently running xbmc 11 eden on a windows 7 laptop with all my films stored on an external harddrive. my problem is (has happened a few times) if i start xbmc without the harddrive plugged in it messes up all my fan art (400films) .the only way to get it sorted is to go threw every film refreshing them and repicking each films fanart. Is there anyway to back up my settings to stop this happening again.

That shouldn't happen.. are you updating the library when the drive is disconnected, or is it happening no matter what?
