Linux What is libusb support good for?
#1
Hi,

XBMC can be built with libusb support, but what is it good for? What capability does it add to XBMC?

Thanx

Gives access to usb devices (plug&play), though it IIRC gives priority to udisks or udev (cant remmebre which) & if later is installed and in that case enabling libusb wont make any difference.

usb peripherals like the nyxboard will be detected and can be configured inside of xbmc when usb support is available.
