Linux XBMC showing IP address from my openVPN interface

Not a big issue but thought I should report it. XBMC is stating my IP as my openVPN inferface IP:

ifconfig:

Likewise mine shows the address for a vmware adaptor and vmware is not even running!

Bumping that thread, as I ran into the same issue today.

I noticed that my airplay (video) wasn't working anymore and after some investigation I found that the airplay/raop services were announced with a zeroes-only mac address (00:00:00:00:00:00). After stopping openvpn and thus removing interface tun0 and restarting XBMC, I was able to airplay videos from my iOS7 devices again.

XBMC showing the wrong interface in "System Info" is not a big issue, but I'd like to see the broken airplay fixed.

Same problem here as hubsif.

I used this tutorial to set up my openvpn server.

But now my XBMC uses the local tunnel ip..
