I have raspberry.pi xbmc working fine but can't get wireless working.
It works good with ethernet.
I need to go to the command line, bash shell to config wireless.
How do you get to the bash shell?

Welcome to the XBMC forums.
Can you SSH into your RPi system?

If you're using OpenELEC then the wireless config is available within XBMC under the OpenELEC menu. If you're using another distro then I'm not sure if it can be done via GUI.
Failing that you'll have to connect to a wired network temporarily, enable SSH OpenELEC, and then connect via SSH (username: root password:openelec). You'll then be able to modify settings as required.
As for why you can't CTRL-ALT-F# it's because XBMC is not run from within an X Windows session like the typical GUI you see in Raspbian. Tt's drawing to the video hardware directly using the current TTY console.

How do you login via SSH?
When I start XBMC, I get the normal screen "VIDEO, AUDIO, WEATHER ...etc.
