[Windows] Build advice needed
#1
So I'm looking at putting together an HTPC that will sit in my equipment closet.
This will be a Windows (probably 7) based XBMC install streaming media (Ripped Blu-rays) from a network SMB share.
Of Primary importance is good quality 1080P 2D and 3D video, HD Audio (DTS HD MA and Dolby True HD), with some gaming. Initially gaming isnt important so I can expand into that if it makes the initial cash outlay lower.

Also, I am going to repurpose an ATX case and 300 W power supply that I have laying around. Noise and size isnt an issue as this thing will be out of sight, and I want an
ATX case so that maybe I can stick a full size video card on it later if I need it for games.

So here is what I am considering purchasing. Looking for advice as to whether this is good, or if I can do anything else to chop down the price...

MSI ZH77A-G43 LGA 1155 Intel H77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS -- $89.99
Intel Core i3-3225 Ivy Bridge 3.3GHz LGA 1155 55W Dual-Core Desktop Processor -- $144.99
CORSAIR XMS 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMX8GX3M2A1600C9 - $44.99
SAMSUNG 840 Pro Series MZ-7PD128BW 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) - $149.99
Total: $429.96

What do you think?
