How can I enable and use the PVR function? I cannot find any guide I would understand.

Yes, that I had found, the lifehacker's description, also, but I didn't manage to get the PVR running. The PVR function / add on is already installed with Frodo, isn't it? Or do you have to add an add on like it seems to be described here : http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=PVR/Backend
And do you have to reboot your system, after installing / updating XBMC to Frodo, add the PVR function?

Yes, you will need a backend, as described on the PVR/Backend (wiki) wiki page. I'm assuming you already have the requisite TV tuner hardware?

Thank you, artrafael, sorry for completely misunderstanding. I would think, since XBMC Frodo now comes with a PVR, there already is one availalbe. OK, but that is not the case, you have to add one, separately. So it seems to be the same as if I would have kept XBMC 11 and add an PVR add on.
