Are you talking about in-home streaming now? Is there a way of finding out if steam is using hardware decoding or not?

Works like a charm on my NUC 2820. Finally got hardware decoding working.
So basically, as a reference for others passing this topic:
- ensure you are running the Steam beta client (I wasn't, took me too long to realise this :p)
- Add Wolfgang Schupp's PPA:
- Install the vaapi drivers and some extra requirements:
