I have been using XBMC for a while now, and am fairly happy with how my system (XBMCbuntu) is working.
I do have an intermittent problem, though.
I subscribe to lovefilm and receive DVDs through the post. I estimate that about 1 of 4 DVDs will cause XBMC to have trouble displaying their menu. Luckily most menus are set up so that pressing "play" simply works and launches the movie. Sometimes this doesn't work either.
The same DVD will play fine on a cheap DVD player.
I have never understood this. What could be causing it ?
