[RPI] Slows down startup a lot
#1
When I start XBMC with the MP PVR addon enabled, it first takes an age to "load EPG data from database" and then "Import EPG data from client". I don't understand why it bothers loading it from a local database if it's then going to overwrite it by importing from elsewhere (I presume by client it actually means the server PC which MP is running on) and so I've enabled the "Do not store EPG in database" option for now which eliminates that step but as I'm not really sure what's happening here I may well be wrong to do so.

Anyway, if this process can't be sped up, perhaps it would be possible to not do it at startup but wait until the user actually selects a function that would require the EPG before loading it, as I may only want to listen to music or watch videos and thus having to wait for the EPG to load before I can use XBMC is rather annoying? It's not an issue on the PC version of XBMC as it's all done in 2s.
