Hi guys,
I am having a problem with DTS/DD passthrough to my Denon AVR. When I play a file with stereo sound everything works correctly but as soon as I play anything with DD/DTS I get a static like noise from the speakers. I have the audio output set to HDMI as well as Dolby and DTS capable receiver selected. My passthrough device is the HDMI (Denon) option.
My system is running an Intel H67 board, i3 2100 Sandy Bridge processor, Ubuntu 12.04 and XMBC 12.0. I have found numerous posts where people have had similar issues but it generally seems to be affecting people trying to use HD-Audio whereas I just want my DTS/DD to work.
If possible could somebody please point me in the right direction.
