Hi guys,

Is there a setting or advanced setting, for setting the application volume within xbmc to a default level when xbmc is started?

Right now, it remembers where you left it last, which is great. But I'd like the volume to set itself to a low level when I launch xbmc, so that it doesn't give me a fright late at night.

I'm talking about the apps GLOBAL volume. Not the system volume, or video amplification settings.

sure, open guisettings.xml, find the setting, copy it to adv. setting, give it the value you want.

all guisettings can be set from advsettings as outlined in the wiki.
