Linux Imon LCD only works once sometimes twice with LCDd.conf
#1
I am using XBMCbuntu with Frodo. I have a case with an inbuilt Imon LCD 15c2;0038. Its working nicely, but only until the next boot. I then have to change my LCDd.conf script from

Device=/dev/lcd1 to Device=/dev/lcd0

or vice versa. After reloading lcdproc (and sometimes also restarting XBMC) it starts working again, until the next reboot. Sometimes its the second reboot either.
What doesn´t happen is that it starts working without having the LCDd.conf changed.
What is this strange behaviour coming from?
How can I prevent the LCD Device from being reconfigured from 0 to 1?

I hope someone here comes out with an idea.

Thx in advance

I installed lcdproc by using

sudo apt-get install lcdproc

in terminal. That should get you the newest Version of it.

Is there an entry regarding lcdproc in your xbmc.log?
