Solved Visual shutdown feedback

On weak hardware (e.g. embedded devices) and if many addons are activated, it often takes some time to finish them.

What happens right now is, that the GUI freezes until every (addon) thread has finished; the user gets no feedback that there is actually a shut down progress in background that might take some time.

Since XBMC is almost an operating system it would be helpful, if one would get a feedback, that XBMC is shutting down. Perhaps even a message like "waiting for <something> to be finished..."

I agree with this. I usually will click shutdown or quit, and then press an arrow key to see if the command has been accepted, and the only way I can tell is that the UI will be "locked up". This can be confusing for less than savvy users.
