Hello,
I'm using the XBMCRemote on my iPhone to control XBMC via my home network and it works great.
I'm want to use the XBMCRemote installed on my iPhone with an ad-hoc wireless connection on a win7 laptop for a mobile "party kit".
No luck so far. I can stream to the laptop via airplay but the remote app cannot connect to the XBMC laptop

I tried to manually set the IP address in the iPhone. Still no luck.
Any ideas?
I want to control XBMC without using a network.
