if i set a manual timer to start at say 23:30 and end at 1am, the timer will fail to be added to the timer listing on first attempt.

however on second attempt, the timer gets added to timer list, then gets removed again, and shows popup saying failed recording, even though local time is not 23:30 yet.

i just successfully added the timer i wanted via nextpvr client app, and when i open xbmc, the externally added timer is back in the list waiting.

This definitely sounds like a bug in the NextPVR addon. I'm away travelling for work at the moment, but if you can bump the thread in two weeks, I'll check it out for you.
