How to name episodes that span multiple seasons
#1
I have Star Trek TNG Season 3 Bluray and the last episode is The Best of Both Worlds Part 1 and 2 except part one is s03e26 and part two s04e01. The episode has no natural break point with ending credits and starting credits so I don't really want to manually split them, how do I go about naming it for XBMC?

You have them as one file together ?

In that case simply name it
Code:
whatever.S03E26.S04E01.ext

as explained in Video_library/Naming_files/TV_shows#Multi-episode (wiki)

This Borg episode is also listed as a standalone episode with IMDB <id>tt0092455</id> as it made to some movie theatres.

Sickbeard isn't recognising it, are you saying XBMC will though?

It sounds like they fudged the bluray release if they pulled that.

I linked to a wiki article describing which namings XBMC will understand, so yes - that is what I am saying.
I can't comment on sickbeard not recognising it, I have no experience with shows that span several seasons and sickbeard.

Has anyone ever actually solved this issue? I also have this same problem with this same file.

Try 03x26.04x01.mp4. MP4 is just an example, use whatever file extension your file already is.
