Hey I'm really new to xbmc and was wondering what site is the best source of addons for xbmc? Also do addons need to be specific to the operating system that you are using xbmc on?

Well look at the ones listed by default. Look around on here. if you want an addon for specific service, use the search on here.

It really depends what you are looking for.
