I have a bit of a strange problem. I have a media library maintained by Media Center Master. So far as I'm aware that creates XBMC metadata files,etc. It all worked fine under windows 7.
I've updated to windows 8 and now my tv library doesn't show the episode names or the media library descriptions of my old episodes. However, anything that has been added recently works fine.
Does anyone know how to sort this? Thanks

Sounds like a re-scrape might be required, perhaps the database listing no longer match up with your episodes etc. MCM is a 3rd party scraper and doesn't scan directly into XBMC, Frodo has some changes, and may need a fresh scan.

I finally figured out this problem. In case anyone else is having the same problem it appears that the issue was with the .nfo files that MCM had historically created for the tv shows.
The second line of the .nfo file had the line
<xbmc_compatible_nfo xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
which was causing it not to work in Frodo
This had obviously been changed at some point as when new .nfo files were generated they did not have this line and they worked.
My solution was to delete all of the .nfo files via Windows and rescan in MCM. This has fixed it.
