Linux how to change cpu throttling
#1
Hi, i'm using xbmcbuntu... latest version, i have a xps laptop model m1330, is there any way to push cpu speed while on xbmc ?

usually the laptop runs at 1.2 Ghz, but on windows can go up to 1.6 Ghz, on ubuntu i've noticed that it's always on 1.2 GHZ

I use the CPU Frequency Scaling Monitor applet for GNOME2 on my laptop, I don't know if it's installable on XBMCbuntu but you could give it a try.
