Hi there,

With the BBC iPlayer it buffers approximately once a minute. I don't have this issue with the other British TV catch up services such as ITV Player and 4OD. I don't think it is the WIFI connection because the iPlayer runs fine on my iPad.

Is there a setting I can adjust? I love my Raspberry PI and XBMC but this driving me crazy. Help!

iPlayer plays fine with 720p streams for me (on wired).
The iPad may have more/larger antannas than a USB dongle so may get a better data rate.

You can limit the bitrate of the streams in the iPlayer settings.
You can increase cachemembuffer setting.
Or you can go wired. You won't regret it.

Thank you for the reply. I will try a wired connection to see if that fixes the problem before I start playing the settings.
