Solved Video sparkles with Airplay
#1
Sad
I tried a lot of solutions, my Nvidia GC driver is up to date, i tried a lot of version of XBMC and the problem remains :
The video sparkles when i stream movies (Iphone > Windows) and the brightness is very high.
I tried to launch XBMC with and without the Nvidia GC (Intel HD Graphics otherwise),
and tried to reduce the brightness but it changes nothing

Windows
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit (SP1)
Nvidia :
GT540M (Laptop) with driver 320.18
XBMC 12.2

I have no problem with the audio when i stream movies or songs and no problem when i play a local movie.
Only With airplay !
(The videos are downloaded, so there isn't any problems due to DRM and something like that ...x) )

Regards

Maybe give us a little more info on the problem. I have no idea what you mean when you say it sparkles. I'm sure others are also uncertain about your meaning. A debug log will also help.

Just with airplay, the withe "color" on every movie sparkles x)

(i launch xbmc, send a movie with the iphone, wait 30 sec, and close xbmc, Voilà !)

I unplugged the second screen to test, maybe...but no
I windowed the application, I tested all nvidia config but nothing changes :/
(i tried to stream with itunes (yes silly but...u no x) and it's the same )

Post a screenshot please.

Try deactivating the hardware acceleration (dxva) in system->video->playback

You are not trying to airplay Twilight ?

In this case the sparkles would be probably considered a feature. =)
